General Manager/ Deputy General Manager/ Assistant General Manager  - GST   

Indicative Job Description:

  • Presenting GST related audit findings/ recommendations to the Audit Committee and Board of Directors.
  • Handling the appellate matters of Clients, including drafting of replies to Show Cause Notices, drafting of appeals, attending personal hearings, representing the client before the quasi-judicial authorities
  • Team Development- development of a good team right towards the junior level, team motivation.
  • Monitoring and Allocation of the right resources for every project
  • Responsible for the complete execution of the assigned engagements 
  • Networking & Identification of opportunities 
  • Networks internally within the peer group and other levels in the firm in order to gain understanding of issues that may impact issues with his clients.
  • Effective implementation and review of work programs/checklists
  • Coordinates with the Manager/Assistant Manager regarding the planning and management of assignments.
  • Ensures timely and high-quality services and work products that exceed client expectations.
    Development Responsibilities:
  • Cultivate an increasing level of technical skills in GST, management services and consider the possibility of industry or service specialization.
  • Keep current with Firm and CPE compliance requirements.
  • Develop a learning program to continually develop and expand knowledge and expertise through learning opportunities: on-the-job, in the classroom and through professional literature and associations.
  • Increase participation in activities outside of the firm to further develop interpersonal and communication skills, with an awareness of practice development responsibilities.
  • Actively seek opportunities to expand services to existing clients and develop new business.
